Population BOOM

Read the Nat Geo article about the global population boom posted on our website and answer these questions:
1) Which topic (water, food, energy, development) are you most interested in working on and why?
2) What information from this article can you use in your topic and how would you present this information to the 4th graders (use a game, create a slideshow, etc.) ?
3) What additional information do you need that this article does not supply and where will you look for it?
Due Wednesday, March 23rd at 1 pm.

Letterpress madness!

This week find three prints or  artist's books created (at least in part) through letterpress. Write a review of each piece which includes a discussion of the subject, content and form and describe how letterpress is used (if you can tell). This is a good site to try http://www.birdpress.com/BooksPortfolios.html and so is this http://flyinghorse.cah.ucf.edu/ (flying horse is UCF's fine art press which we hope to visit in the next few weeks).

Due Wednesday, March 23rd by 1 pm.
